Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings has been called up to the England squad.

The former Arsenal striker has been impressed with how Mings has turned his career around and has earned an England call-up.
Hartson has also said that Villa have signed a gem in the 26-year-old central defender.
Hartson said about Mings on Sky Sports Premier League (10:35pm, September 4, 2019): “He is a rock for them. I think at Bournemouth he suffered with a few injuries.
“It was the right thing for him to move and Aston Villa have got a gem, and through his good performances, he has earned himself an England call-up. And I love his story as well.”
Hartson added: “If you keep going and if you work hard enough, you get your opportunities, and it is clear to see that he has a good attitude, and it is coming to fruition for him.”

Quality footballer
Mings has been included in the England squad for their upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo.
The defender has been rewarded for his performances for Villa during the second half of last season in the Championship and so far this campaign in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old joined the Villans on a permanent contract from Bournemouth in the summer transfer window for an initial fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £20 million.
As reported by The Sun, Mings was working as a mortgage advisor when he was younger and had to work hard to come where he is now.
Mings is an inspiration to footballers who have been released by clubs at an early age and to those who have had injury problems.
