The Celtic hitman has been in fine form so far this season.

Ex-Celtic man John Hartson spoke exclusively to the Glasgow Evening Times last night about his former side’s chances of beating RB Leipzig tomorrow night, and backed Odsonne Edouard to come up trumps for Brendan Rodgers’ side against the Bundesliga outfit.
The Hoops currently sit in third spot in their Europa League group, having taken just three points from their opening three outings, and cannot afford anything other than a win against Leipzig.
Celtic will have to be on their very best form if they are to have any chance whatsoever of beating Ralf Rangnick’s men, but with their famous home support behind them, they will have every chance of doing just that.
And Hartson backed the 20-year-old Odsonne Edouard to deliver the goods for Celtic tomorrow night, when speaking exclusively to the Glasgow Evening Times:

“Start strong, defend well, not take any risks at the back, not make any individual errors. Craig Gordon is going to have a few good saves then you’re looking for your record signing [Odsonne Edouard] to come up trumps. I think Leipzig are beatable, I really do.They’re not Barcelona, they’re not Bayern Munich, or PSG or Man City. Over there the game was almost in the balance up until they scored that first goal. It’s one Celtic can win, but I think it has to be a perfect performance.”
Edouard has been in decent form so far this season, racking up 11 goals and four assists in 20 appearances in all competitions, and if Celtic are to have any chance of beating Leipzig, he will surely have to improve upon that tally tomorrow night.
