Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side cruised past Anderlecht in Champions League action last night.

John Hartson and Adam Virgo have both celebrated Celtic’s victory over Anderlecht on Twitter.
Celtic ran out 3-0 winners in Belgium in the Champions League, after putting in a highly impressive performance.
And both ex-Bhoys Hartson and Virgo were delighted that their former side were able to pick up the three points.
Celtic went into their match against Anderlecht knowing that if they were able to avoid defeat then they would put themselves in a commanding position in the group, as they look to ensure they are still playing European football in the latter stages of the season.
However, Rodgers’ side far surpassed expectations and completely dominated the match against the Belgian champions.

Celtic scored their first goal in the contest through Leigh Griffiths, before Patrick Roberts and Scott Sinclair also got on the scoresheet to complete the triumph.
Celtic’s next match in Europe comes against Bayern Munich in October, and that is sure to be a huge test of Rodgers’ side’s quality.
