Scott Brown clashed with Alfredo Morelos of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers in today’s frenetic Scottish Premiership Old Firm clash.

John Collins has condemned Celtic midfielder Scott Brown for the role he played in Alfredo Morelos’s red card for Rangers this afternoon.
Morelos received a first-half red card for catching the Celtic captain in the face with an elbow.
Television replays indicate that Brown clipped the Rangers striker’s heels in an off-the-ball incident which goaded the fiery Colombian.
Brown was seen smiling directly at Morelos as the Gers hitman left the field in disgrace, but former Celtic star Collins wasn’t impressed with the 33-year-old.
He told beIN Sport, when asked if he condemns Brown: “Yes I do. I don’t think that’s part of football but he’s done it for a reason. I don’t like it and I wouldn’t encourage my players to do it.”
It was Morelos’s fifth red card of the season for Rangers and Collins’s fellow pundit Andy Gray has told Gers boss Steven Gerrard to axe the 22-year-old marksman, who has 29 goals this season.
Gray added: “I’d sell him if I was Gerrard. I know it’s an easy thing for me to say but I’d seriously have to consider selling him. He has cost Rangers eight points and that’s nearly the difference between Rangers and Celtic this season.”
Odsonne Edouard had fired Neil Lennon’s side into a 1-0 lead prior to Morelos’s dismissal, but Gerrard’s troops, despite the 10 men, equalised through Ryan Kent in the second half.
But James Forrest grabbed an 86th-minute winner for the hosts, who move 13 points clear of the light Blues.
