Former Premier League player John Collins has urged Tottenham to sign Adrien Rabiot, Tanguy Ndombele, Celtic’s Kieran Tierney and Wilfred Zaha if they want to win trophies.

All four players represent a number of high-profile European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Lyon, Celtic and Crystal Palace.

On Wednesday night, Spurs moved into their new stadium by beating Palace 2-0. The club harbours long-term plans of one day bringing silverware to the club with this enormous move.

Speaking to beINSPORTS (03/04/2019) during Spurs’ historic win at their new stadium, former Everton and Celtic man Collins stated what he would do if he was in charge of the club’s recruitment.

“If I was in charge of Tottenham’s recruitment, I’d have Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain,” Collins told beinSPORTS. “Ndombele from Lyon. Tierney from Celtic. Zaha. I think that would be a good four for them.

“I worked with young Tierney. He has got a big future. I don’t know about that [better than Robertson]. Robertson, I think is world class, at this moment in time. He’s a bit older as well.”

There is no doubt that Tottenham need to pump some money into the transfer market and sign a number of players in order to take that next step on the ladder.

During the previous two transfer windows, they have opted against bringing in any new faces which further indicates the remarkable job Mauricio Pochettino is doing at the club.

Midfielder Rabiot would no doubt add power and technique to the club’s midfield, while Ndombele and Zaha would be bringing the flair if they were ever purchased.

Left-back Tierney is perhaps a player that the North London club don’t need given the fact that they already have Danny Rose and Ben Davies in their ranks.
