Former Celtic assistant John Collins has told Sky Sports (21/05/2017) that he thinks Bhoys loanee Patrick Roberts is better than Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling.
Celtic ended their league campaign with a 2-0 win over Hearts, meaning they have gone the entire league season unbeaten in an invincible season under Brendan Rodgers.
Leigh Griffiths and Stuart Armstrong both struck to hand Celtic the win over Hearts, and ultimately gave Celtic the league title by a whopping margin of 30 points.
Rodgers has improved the likes of Armstrong and Callum McGregor, whilst Manchester City loanee Patrick Roberts has also thrived under the Bhoys manager.

Signed on loan from City in January 2016, Roberts hit six goals in 13 games under Ronny Deila, and the winger has notched nine goals and ten assists in the Scottish Premiership this term.
Now, the 20-year-old is set to return to Manchester City given that his 18-month loan deal is coming to an end, with Roberts no doubt hoping to impress City boss Pep Guardiola during pre-season.
Celtic may want to bring Roberts back this summer, but former Bhoys assistant John Collins has told Sky Sports (21/05/2017) has predicted that he will return to City to further his career with his parent club.

Collins, who worked alongside Deila when Roberts arrived in Glasgow, added that he thinks Roberts is better than City winger Raheem Sterling, who cost a staggering £49million from Liverpool in 2015 (BBC Sport) – huge praise for the young Englishman.
“I think he’ll go back to Manchester City,” said Collins. “I think he’s better than Raheem Sterling. Sterling cost £50million and he [Roberts] scores goals and is more creative than him. I think he’s got the quality. I’d love him to stay at Celtic and entertain the Celtic fans but I think he’ll return,” he added.
