John Barnes has given his take on Twitter on reported Liverpool target Thiago Alcantara.
The former Liverpool star believes that Thiago would give something different to the Reds.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool will announce the signing of Thiago from Bayern Munich today.
The report has added that the Reds will pay Bayern an initial transfer fee of £20 million for the 29-year-old former Barcelona central midfielder.

Thiago has been brilliant for Bayern over the years and has established himself as a serial winner.
The central midfielder also won the Champions League with Bayern last season, and at the reported transfer fee of £20 million, he would be a bargain signing for Liverpool.
Thiago is a player who is at the top of his game, and he would make an instant impact at Anfield.
