From Victor Lindelof’s alleged foul on Divock Origi, which led to Marcus Rasfhford opening the scoring, to Sadio Mane seeing his goal chalked off because of handball – all the drama unfolded in the first half.
Jurgen Klopp was annoyed on the sidelines when VAR didn’t overturn and disallow Rashford’s goal because he felt there was a foul on Origi in the build-up to his opening strike.
Moments after, Mane struck, but once again, when VAR checked the decision, it disallowed the goal because of handball to the delight of the home fans.

The positive for Liverpool is that they are still unbeaten, and they have secured a point after producing a pretty poor display at Old Trafford.
Klopp’s decision to bring on Adam Lallana late on ended up working because he ended up scoring that crucial equaliser.
VAR will no doubt take the headlines after the game because Klopp and his players were seriously unhappy that Rashford’s goal was able to stand.
But for Klopp’s side, they are still sitting top of the Premier League table, with a six-point lead now, as their next Premier League game will be against Mauricio Pochettino’s out-of-form Spurs.
