Liverpool star Naby Keita stood out in the Reds opening weekend victory at Anfield.
Keita starred as Liverpool beat West Ham 4-0 in a dominant team performance.
The summer signing’s display had former Reds star John Arne Riise excited, with the Norwegian left seriously impressed.
Riise sent the following message on Twitter after seeing Keita in action.
Keita did not score or provide a direct assist but he did have a major part to play in Liverpool’s opener.
His driving run from midfield played in Andrew Robertson to cross for Mohamed Salah to score, and his nifty footwork also put in Georginio Wijnaldum who nearly added another shortly after.
As debuts go, Keita could not have asked for much more, and clearly he has a lot more to offer than he showed yesterday.
Liverpool fans are right to be excited about what he can bring to the table this season.
