Fulham maintained their good run of form in the Championship with a 3-1 victory over Villa at Craven Cottage.
Ryan Sessegnon, Sone Aluko and Neeskens Kebano scored the goals for Fulham, while Jack Grealish found the net for Villa.
The Villans were also reduced to 10 men midway through the first half due to the dismissal of Jonathan Kodjia.
Former Fulham star Riise, who won the Champions League with Liverpool in 2005 and the FA Cup in 2006, was following the match, and he was happy to see the London club win.
The win against Villa means that Fulham are now sixth in the Championship table with 73 points from 43 matches.
