Former Liverpool left-back praises Scottish star.

Andy Robertson has surpassed expectations to become an unlikely folk hero at Liverpool this season.
His fantastic season continued on Wednesday night as he starred during Liverpool’s Champions League victory over Manchester City.

Robertson played all 90 minutes as Liverpool crushed Manchester City 3-0, to give themselves a huge advantage to reach the semi-finals.
Former Liverpool left-back John Arne Riise is a big fan of Robertson, and expressed his admiration for the defender during the win.
Robertson began this season as a back-up to Alberto Moreno after signing from Hull City in the summer.
Liverpool fans had lamented the club not signing a ‘big name’, but their doubts over Robertson’s ability have quickly been erased.
The full-back is becoming a real cult hero and if Liverpool needed a seal of approval, then Riise’s is a great one to have.
