Liverpool have agreed to sign young talent Sepp van den Berg.
Liverpool legend John Arne Riise has welcomed new signing Sepp van den Berg to the club.
The Reds have moved quickly to tie up a move for Van den Berg and make him the club’s first summer addition.
Van den Berg joins from Dutch club PEC Zwolle.
He’s just 17, and a signing for the future rather than one who will be expected to compete immediately.
Liverpool had the best defence in the Premier League last season and are under no pressure to make big name additions.
They can take fliers on young prospects like Van den Berg on the cheap.
If the young centre-back has a career as good as Riise, he will have done very well indeed.
