Moreno has been playing second fiddle to James Milner for the left-back role this season.
Former Liverpool left-back suggests he believes that Alberto Moreno has what it takes to make it as a good left-back when answering a fan’s question on Twitter.
Moreno has been second fiddle to James Milner in that role this season, with manager Jürgen Klopp opting to play a man more accustomed to a midfield role ahead of the Spaniard – and it has had some success so far.

Moreno is often ridiculed for gaffes and errors that he has made. Some have said that is weakness is on the defensive part of the game while going forward he has a lot to offer.
His appearances for the Reds have been limited to three EFL Cup appearances, and two Premier League starts, with a couple of substitute appearances, when Milner has been absent either through injury or illness.
Clearly Klopp wanted a bit more discipline and better positional play in that area of the field, but he obviously sees something in Moreno otherwise he wouldn’t still be at the club. The Liverpool manager seems prepared to do some work with him on the training field in order to iron out the weaknesses in his game.
Moreno could get some more opportunities in the first team over the Christmas period with more fixtures in a short space of time in both the league and cup competitions. There he will have a chance to impress, and if he does that then he should have the confidence to kick on.
