John Aldridge’s former side Liverpool pulled off a shock win at Aston Villa.

John Alridge has hailed Liverpool’s ‘Unbearables’ after this afternoon’s stunning comeback at Aston Villa.

Jurgen Klopp’s side haven’t lost a Premier League game in 10 months but that looked set to end today.

Trezeguet’s first-half goal seemed set to give Aston Villa a shock win over the European champions, but Andy Robertson grabbed an 87th-minute equaliser.

And then in stoppage time, Liverpool nicked all three points as Sadio Mane sealed a dramatic victory.

Klopp’s side have now gone 28 Premier League outings without losing. In fact, they tasted defeat just once last season, and yet it wasn’t enough for them to end their 30-year wait for a top-flight league crown.

Still, the Anfield club look good to correct that this time around, with Liverpool still six points ahead of Manchester City – and potentially nine if they beat Pep Guardiola’s side next week.
