Liverpool returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a comfortable 4-1 victory over Leicester at Anfield.
Roberto Firmino put the Reds in the lead after just 13 minutes, and Sadio Mane doubled the advantage just past the half-hour mark.
Jamie Vardy halved the deficit for Leicester on 38 minutes, but Adam Lallana and Firmino found the net in the second half to secure all three points for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Former Liverpool striker Aldridge was following the match, and he was pleased with the final result.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Anfield on Saturday evening, hosts Liverpool had 63% of the possession, took 17 shots of which 11 were on target, and earned one corner, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Leicester had just 37% of the possession, took 12 shots of which three were on target, and earned seven corners, according to BBC Sport.
Liverpool will return to action this coming Friday when they take on Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
