The former Republic of Ireland international striker believes that the Reds made it hard work for themselves against Cardiff, and has warned the Merseyside outfit against taking anything for granted when they face already relegated Huddersfield Town at Anfield in the Premier League on Friday evening.

Former Liverpool left-back Jim Beglin has given his take on the Reds and Manchester City on Twitter, while the Merseyside club’s owner John W. Henry’s wife, Linda Pizzuti Henry, has revelled in the victory over Cardiff.
