John Aldridge and John Arne Riise have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Liverpool’s defeat to Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
Liverpool suffered a disappointing 2-0 loss at the hands of Burnley away from home at Turf Moor in the Premier League.
Sam Vokes put the Clarets in the lead after just two minutes, and Andre Gray added the second on 37 minutes.
Former Liverpool duo Aldridge and Riise were following the match, and they have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the final result.


Over the course of the 90 minutes at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon, hosts Burnley had just 20% of the possession, took three shots of which two were on target, and earned one corner, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Liverpool had 80% of the possession, took 26 shots of which five were on target, and earned 12 corners, according to BBC Sport.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Burton Albion away from home at the Pirelli Stadium in the second round of the EFL Cup.
