Should West Ham United look at Alan Pardew?
West Ham are on the lookout for a new manager following the departure of Slaven Bilic.
Bilic parted company with West Ham earlier today, as the Hammers continue to struggle in the Premier League.
The London club are in the relegation zone, and they are in danger of going down to the Championship at the end of the season.
Pardew is without a managerial job at the moment, having parted company with Premier League club Crystal Palace in December 2016.
The former Newcastle and Southampton manager was in charge of West Ham from 2003 until 2006.
Barton said on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (07:35am, November 6, 2017) when asked if West Ham should offer Pardew a deal until the end of the season: “Can’t see that, can’t see. He has got a nice gig at Sky. I like Pards. I think he is a good manager. He has got a nice gig at Sky. He has been West Ham manager before. It didn’t work out.”
According to The Guardian, West Ham will appoint former Manchester United and Everton boss David Moyes as their new manager.
Moyes is without a managerial job at the moment, having left Sunderland at the end of last season.
