Everton were easy winners at Goodison Park last night.

Joey Barton has wound up Everton fans again by joking that Sam Allardyce deserved all the credit for the Toffees’ big win last night.
Barton has been a fierce critic of David Unsworth, during the 44-year-old boss’s temporary spell in charge at Goodison Park.
And even after Everton won 4-0 against West Ham last night, Barton did not seem too keen to praise Unsworth.
Unsworth has won just two of his seven games in charge at Everton, but last night’s win was a fine way to sign off.
Wayne Rooney scored a hat-trick and Ashley Williams netted a great header, as Everton picked up a 4-0 victory over David Moyes’ side.

Allardyce now inherits an Everton side who should have recovered some confidence.
The former England boss takes charge of the Toffees for the first time at the weekend, when they take on Huddersfield Town at Goodison Park.
If Everton are able to beat Huddersfield, they could move up into the top half of the Premier league table.
