Former Rangers midfielder should make an approach to Ibrox for Lee Hodson.

As Steven Gerrard begins his managerial career at Rangers, a former Ger is also taking his first steps as a coach.
Controversial 2016 Rangers signing Joey Barton was recently appointed at Fleetwood Town, and has already hired Clint Hill on his coaching staff.
Barton played with Hill at both Rangers and QPR, and he should look to Ibrox for another of his old teammates.

Lee Hodson has had a woeful 2018, playing only two games, starting one, and this was against non-league Fraserburgh.
Hodson remains a Northern Ireland international, and for Barton’s Fleetwood he could solve a problem area.

Fleetwood played Lewie Coyle at right-back through last season, but his loan spell has ended and he has returned to Leeds United.
League One side Charlton tried to sign Hodson a year ago and he could be a worthwhile signing for Barton.
Hodson certainly needs to get playing regularly again, and Barton should get in touch with his former pal and Gerrard to try and get the ball rolling… and do his former side a favour.
