Joey Barton appears to mock Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon.

Barton, who was on the books of Rangers from the summer of 2016 until November 2016, asked his co-host Alan Brazil, a Celtic fan, if he thinks that Gordon is the best goalkeeper in the world.
The former Newcastle United midfielder posed the question while discussing if Manchester United custodian David de Gea is the best goalkeeper on the planet at the moment due to the current injury which has sidelined Bayern Munich star Manuel Neuer.

Barton asked Brazil on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (9:35am, December 4, 2017): “Do you think there’s any better in the world? Craig Gordon? I said this at the weekend, and all your Celtic pals straightaway, like, Craig Gordon, obviously to wind me up.”

Barton is obviously not being serious while asking if Gordon is the best goalkeeper in the world, as not even Celtic fans will seriously make that claim about the 34-year-old.
The former Heart of Midlothian and Sunderland custodian is prone to making mistakes, but the Scotland international is a good goalkeeper who is the first choice between the sticks at Celtic at the moment.
