Sam Allardyce’s side struggled to match City, who passed the ball beautifully and severely overpowered the home team.
Everton did not help themselves by making it easy for Pep Guardiola’s side, who are now just one win away from clinching the Premier League title this season.
The Toffees now need to put the defeat to City behind them and look ahead to their next game.
