Burnley defeated Everton 1-0 in the Premier League on Sunday.

Popular football pundit Joey Barton has praised Burnley after his former club defeated Everton 1-0 away to Goodison Park on Sunday.
With that victory, Burnley moved to sixth in the Premier League. Sean Dyche’s side were terrible last season away from home, but this season they’ve already picked up points against Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Everton all away from home.

Barton has taken to social networking site Twitter and hailed this achievement as “exceptional”. He labelled the victory as a “great result”.
Everton were dominant in the opening 20 minutes, but Burnley stayed resolute and composed at the back and soaked up the pressure.

And almost against the run of play, they got the goal through Jeff Hendrick with a superb move that included a series of 24 passes.
According to BBC Sport, the 24 passes in the build-up is the second highest of any goal in the league this season.
Dyche said after the game that Burnley’s away record has improved this season because of a combination of more experience, better organisation, and better mentality of the players.
