Joey Barton has signed for Burnley following his release from Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers.
Joey Barton has tweeted that he is delighted to be back at Burnley, following his departure from Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers.
Barton left Burnley to join Rangers last summer, but his move to the Glasgow club did not work out as expected.
The 34-year-old had a training ground altercation with Andy Halliday, and he never recovered from the incident.

Barton made just eight appearances for Rangers, and he never managed to show his best form during his time in Scotland.
Rangers boss Mark Warburton decided to allow Barton to leave Ibrox ahead of schedule, to search for a new club.
Burnley offered the central-midfielder a chance to train with them, and have now handed him a new contract to sign.
Barton’s current deal at Turf Moor is a short-term one, as Sean Dyche’s look to bolster his options for the rest of the campaign.
And Barton says he is delighted to be back with the Clarets, after a short spell away from the Lancashire side.
