Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have both accumulated 23 points so far this season.

At the moment Spurs are locked on points with United, with Jose Mourinho’s side only ahead of them by virtue of a better goal difference.
Tottenham and United both appear to be among the leading contenders to win the Premier League title, even though Manchester City are setting the pace.
And Barton believes that United may just have enough to edge Spurs out of second place, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side destined to finish in third of fourth position.

He said: “Even if United don’t win the league, I think they’ll still finish second. Then you’ll have Tottenham and Chelsea fighting it out for third and fourth.”
Spurs were beaten by United two weekends’ ago at Old Trafford, in what was a disappointing defeat for Pochettino’s side.

Tottenham have bounced back from that loss in fine fashion though, and have beaten both Real Madrid and Crystal Palace in the last few days.
United, meanwhile, were unable to get past Chelsea at the weekend, with Antonio Conte’s side winning 1-0 at Stamford Bridge, thanks to an Alvaro Morata header.
