Everton’s Ross Barkley is reportedly wanted by Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

According to The Telegraph, Tottenham are interested in securing the services of Barkley from Premier League rivals Everton this summer.
It has been reported that the North London outfit are preparing a bid of £20 million for the 23-year-old attacking midfielder, who has played 22 times for the England national football team, scoring two goals in the process.

The report in The Telegraph states that talks between Tottenham and Everton will take place this week, with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy ready to pay £20m upfront and a further £8m in add-ons.
Barkley is out injured at the moment with a hamstring tear and will not feature for three months, according to The Telegraph.
Former Newcastle and Queens Park Rangers midfielder Barton has predicted Tottenham to complete the signing of Barkley, but only late in the summer transfer window.

“I think that gets done,” said Barton on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, August 21, 2017) about Barkley and Tottenham.
“I think it will be classic Daniel Levy and Spurs. I think it will be late in the window. You see Sigurdsson going in at Everton now, they don’t want to see him run his contract out.
“He is not flavour of the month with Koeman, he is injured. I can see that happening.”
