The Leeds United loanee is impressing his manager at Fleetwood Town.

Joey Barton has Leeds United’s Lewie Coyle as ‘a great player’ – and ‘a privilege’ – to have in his Fleetwood Town side.
Coyle moved to Fleetwood on a six-month loan from Leeds ahead of the campaign, returning to the club at which he spent the whole of 2017-18.
The right-back has since re-established himself as a key member of the Town team, which currently sits four points and as many places off League One’s top six.
And his response to being played as an auxiliary left-back for 80 minutes of Saturday’s 4-0 win at sixth-place Doncaster Rovers sparked strong praise from Barton afterwards.
“Lewie Coyle – what a great player to have in your side because he competes anywhere you want him to,” the Fleetwood manager said via the Blackpool Gazette. “I think you could play him in goal and he would give absolutely everything.

“It is a privilege to have him in the building. He sets the tone for a lot of it.”
What Leeds will decide for Coyle once January arrives remains to be seen, although the 22-year-old could come in handy at the moment, with first choice right-back Luke Ayling suspended for the Whites’ trip to Blackburn Rovers in 11 days’ time.
Should Leeds recall Coyle when his Fleetwood loan spell expires?
