Of all people, Joey Barton has hit out at Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson for his explosive autobiography.
Ferguson caused controversy by criticising figures like Rafa Benitez, Roy Keane, Steven Gerrard and Mark Bosnich in the book which was released on Tuesday.
Joey Barton, a former Manchester City midfielder, has lambasted Ferguson in a rant on Twitter:
Perhaps Barton was just miffed that he didn’t warrant a mere mention in Ferguson’s book. A persona non-grata in the eyes of the Scotsman.
As for Joey Barton and Roy Keane, that’s an ITV punditry line-up we would pay to see.
