Tottenham Hotspur are out of the Champions League.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Champions League adventure came to an end on Wednesday evening, as they were knocked out by Juventus.
Spurs lost the second leg of their last-16 tie 2-1 to Italian giants Juventus, thereby going out 4-3 on aggregate.
The Premier League club actually took the lead in the 39th minute at the Wembley Stadium in London, but the Serie A club scored twice in the second half.
Former Newcastle United and Rangers midfielder Joey Barton was following the match, and he has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the final result, while ex-Spurs striker Mido believes that the future of Mauricio Pochettino’s side is very bright.

Premier League focus
Tottenham fans will be bitterly disappointed with the team failing to progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, but they should be proud of how the team have performed in Europe’s premier club competition this season.
The North London outfit will now have to focus fully on the Premier League and continue their quest for a top-four finish.
