Scotland suffered a 3-0 defeat to England away from home at the Wembley Stadium in London.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge put the Three Lions in the lead in the 24th minute, and his club teammate Adam Lallana added a second on 50 minutes.

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill wrapped up the points for Gareth Southgate’s side just past the hour mark.

Former Tottenham striker Lineker has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the Three Lions’ win against Scotland.

Ex-Newcastle United and Rangers midfielder Joey Barton was also following the match, and the 34-year-old has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.

Barton believes that Southgate should not be given the England managerial job on a permanent contract.
