Joey Barton has made a poor start to life at Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers.

Glasgow Rangers midfielder Joey Barton has admitted to the Guardian that he has some regrets about his move to Ibrox.
Barton turned down a contract with Burnley to move to Rangers and help them upon their return to the Scottish Premiership.
The 34-year-old had been a key player at Burnley, with his performances helping them earn promotion to the Premier League last term.

However, he decided that the challenge at Rangers was a more appealing one, and made the switch to Glasgow.
Since joining up with Mark Warburton’s side, things have not gone to plan for Barton.
The former Newcastle United man has looked short of his best on the pitch, and he has now been suspended for three weeks after a training ground dispute.
Barton admits that if he had known how his move to Rangers would turn out he probably wouldn’t have gone through with the transfer, but he insists that he is fully committed to helping the Ibrox side out.

“Knowing what I know now?” Barton said, when asked whether he regretted his move to Rangers. “Reflecting on it, would I have made the same decision? Probably not. I’ve even been honest with people about that.
“There is an honesty that I am operating which means some people think I’m critiquing them. But I know that in time it will turn out to be the right decision. As tough as it is, adversity brings out the best in you.”
