Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta included young winger Joel Ideho in first-team training at London Colney this week, according to All Nigeria Soccer.
What’s the story?
It has been reported that Ideho, who is just 18 years of age, trained with the Arsenal first team on Wednesday.
The report has added that the teenager models his game on Crystal Palace and Ivory Coast international winger Wilfried Zaha.
One for the future
Arsenal do have enough attack-minded players, and it is unlikely that Ideho will be playing regularly for the first team anytime soon.
However, the teenager could be included in the matchday squad against AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup next week.
Arteta including Ideho in first-team training this week shows just highly he rates him.

One should not be surprised if the Arsenal boss does give him a chance in the coming weeks and months.
If and when Ideho gets the chance to turn out for the first team, then he has to be ready to make the most of it.
The 18-year-old has scored six goals and provided five assists in 24 appearances for the Arsenal youth teams since his move from Ajax in October 2020, according to All Nigeria Soccer.
