Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard brought Nottingham Forest’s Joe Worrall to Ibrox on loan this summer.
Joe Worrall at Rangers
Ibrox club Rangers signed Worrall from Forest in the Championship in England on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old defender has been on the books of the Reds since 2011 and has played quite a few times for the club’s first team.
The youngster has spoken highly of Rangers, and the defender seems to have suggested that the Scottish Premiership side are a bigger club than Forest.
Worrall told The Scottish Sun: “Forest are big but Rangers is a step up. You look at the training ground and see pictures on the wall of who’s actually played for the club. Under the manager, the expectations are massive here. It’s perfectly suited for me.”

Succeeding at Rangers
Worrall is a talented and promising young defender, and the Forest-owned man will be aiming to establish himself in the Rangers starting lineup in the coming weeks and months.
Rangers do have good central defenders, and the 21-year-old will have to work hard in order to get into the team ahead of Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic.
The Gers are challenging Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership and will also feature in the Europa League this season.
