Rangers defender Joe Worrall seemingly won’t be returning to Ibrox.

Rangers played their final game of the season on Sunday, losing 2-1 at Kilmarnock – and that appears to have been Joe Worrall’s final game for the club.
The Gers went into the game with six wins on the bounce, including a 2-0 win over Celtic in their previous game, but they came unstuck at Rugby Park.
Steven Gerrard decided to rotate his side and use some fringe players, which included bringing Worrall back in for one final game before his loan spell ended.
Worrall came back in for Nikola Katic but didn’t exactly impress, and will head back to Nottingham Forest with his loan spell coming to an end.
The 22-year-old has endured an up-and-down season at Ibrox, but it will all give him valuable experience as he looks to break back into the Forest side this summer and next season.

There appears to be little chance of Rangers getting him back, either on loan or permanently, and the centre back has subsequently taken to Twitter to say goodbye.
Worrall thanked Rangers for letting him play for such a ‘great club’, adding that it has been a fantastic experience, claiming the club has a special place in his heart as he hailed the fans, players and staff at Ibrox.
