Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers had Joe Worrall on loan for the 2018-19 campaign.

Joe Worrall has revealed that he’s a much better player after spending a year with Rangers.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a season-long loan at Ibrox but no attempt was made to make the move permanent after the Englishman lost his place during the second half of last season.
Worrall, who was ousted in the Rangers XI by Nikola Katic, returned to parent club Nottingham Forest and has since established himself as a huge player for the Championship club.
In fact, he could be a Premier League player come May as Forest sit fifth in the table, three points behind top-of-the-table Preston North End.
And the centre-back believes that his form this season would not have been possible without the experience of playing under Rangers boss Steven Gerrard last term.
He told The Glasgow Evening Times: “I enjoyed my time up there and I’ve come back a much better player. I couldn’t have got a better loan. Now I’m back where I belong, so I’m really happy at the moment.”
Worrall helped Rangers qualify for the Europa League group stages last season, and the experience has clearly improved him. All in all, it has to be considered a very successful loan.
Gers fans often found themselves frustrated with Worrall, but this form now goes to show that there was indeed a player in there and, by his own admission, Gerrard and his coaching staff helped him enormously.
It also makes you wonder just how good Katic is, if he was in Gerrard’s team ahead of a player who is now the bedrock of a promotion-chasing defence down South.
