Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall enjoyed a fine breakthrough season last term.
Joe Worrall has told the Daily Mirror that he is only thinking about success at Nottingham Forest.
Worrall had a fine breakthrough season at the City Ground last term, when he made 21 senior appearances.
The youngster’s showings, and his leadership qualities, are sure to have drawn admiring glances.
But Worrall, who grew up supporting Forest, insists that his goal is to get the Reds back to the Premier League.
“I want to get the club I have grown up with up the league and really want to succeed with Forest,” the defender said.
Worrall is likely to have an important role to play in Mark Warburton’s side next term, which is drawing ever closer.
Forest’s season begins on Friday evening, when they take on newly promoted Millwall at the City Ground.
Forest only narrowly avoided relegation last term, and will be determined to improve this time around.
The Reds have been active in the transfer window, but losing key striker Britt Assombalonga to Middlesbrough was a blow, as the striker scored the bulk of Warburton’s side’s goals last term.
