Tottenham Hotspur defender Joe Rodon’s brother, Sam, has suggested that Harry Kane wasn’t the only player behind Jose Mourinho at the end.
The Athletic reported yesterday that by the time Mourinho left, Kane was the only Tottenham player still really behind the Portuguese boss.
However, Sam Rodon has suggested that these claims are wide of the mark.
If Sam’s brother was behind Mourinho then that would be understandable.
Not only did Mourinho sign him from Swansea, but he always spoke positively about the 23-year-old.
Rodon had got to the point where he was beginning to look like Tottenham’s very first choice in the central defensive role before Mourinho was sacked.

Rodon’s place in Tottenham’s team could now come under threat with Ryan Mason in charge.
Although the Welsh international has played well of late, Mason may wish to pick his most experienced players in what is a pressurised time for Tottenham right now.
