Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Joe Rodon against Vitesse in the Europa Conference League tonight.
Rodon was in action for Tottenham in their Europa Conference League Group G fixture agains Vitesse away from home in the Netherlands this evening,
The 23-year-old Wales international centre-back started alongside Davinson Sanchez at the heart of the Tottenham defence.
The youngster played well, helped out Sanchez on more than one occasion in tricky situations, and was very vocal and looked like a leader at the back.
Tottenham lost 1-0.
Rodon has been at Spurs since 2020 when he joined from Swansea City.
The youngster has struggled for playing time at Spurs and is not a regular in the first team.
The 23-year-old has played only 13 times in the Premier League for Tottenham so far in his career.
Some Tottenham fans were impressed by the display produced by Rodon and have raved about him on Twitter, as you can see below.
It will be interesting to see if Tottenham head coach Nuno starts using Rodon in the Premier League from now.
The Spurs no. 14 has played only 78 minutes in the league so far this season.
