Moussa Dembele joined Celtic in the summer of 2016.

Joe Miller has told The Scottish Sun that Moussa Dembele is one of Celtic’s best ever signings.
The Celtic legend, who played for the Hoops from 1987 until 1993, seems to be a big fan of the French striker.
Miller told The Scottish Sun: “He is such a powerful presence, a big, strong boy who is difficult to push off the ball. He’s one of Celtic’s best-ever signings.”

Bold claim
Dembele is one of the best young strikers in Europe and is a key figure in the current Celtic team.
The 21-year-old cost cost Celtic £500,000 when they secured his services from Fulham in the summer of 2016, according to The Scottish Sun, and was manager Brendan Rodgers’s first signing at the club.
The France Under-21 international striker was superb for the Hoops last season, and banged in the goals left, right and centre.

The youngster, though, has struggled with injury issues and mediocre form this campaign, and has scored just eight goals in 23 Scottish Premiership appearances for the Hoops – although he has provided seven assists.
It is quite a bold claim from Miller that Dembele is one of Celtic’s best ever signings, given the plethora of quality players that they have had in their history.
While there is no doubt that the youngster has been a superb signing for the Hoops, for him to be considered among the best ever, he needs to play consistently well for a few seasons.
