Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic recently signed Jonny Hayes from Aberdeen in the summer transfer window.
Joe Miller has suggested to The Glasgow Evening Times that Jonny Hayes will prove to be a success at Celtic.
Celtic recently completed the signing of Hayes from Scottish Premiership rivals Aberdeen in the summer transfer window.
According to The Express, the Hoops had to pay Aberdeen a transfer fee of £1.3 million in order to secure the services of the 29-year-old winger.
Former Celtic star Miller, who is 49 years of age, has backed Hayes to turn on the style at Celtic Park.
Millers, though, has suggested that the Celtic fans should be patient with the former Aberdeen winger.

“He was probably the best player outwith Celtic last season, and he proved that in the Scottish Cup final,” Miller told The Glasgow Evening Times about Hayes. “He was a thorn in quite a lot of the other sides and he’s always willing to take people on.
“He can change a game, so it’s a good fit. If all the avenues are exhausted regarding Patrick Roberts, then it’s definitely a good fit.”
“You can’t judge [Hayes] just now, although a lot of fans might,” added Hayes. “You’ve got to give the guy a chance.
“He’s a good player, he’s there on merit and he’s worked his way up. I think everybody should just sit back and see what he can bring to Celtic.”

Hayes is one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership, and the 29-year-old winger could prove to be a valuable player for the Bhoys in the coming years.
The Republic of Ireland international has extensive experience of playing in the Scottish top flight, and Celtic fans should be encouraged by his arrival at Celtic Park.
