Joe Mason and Dominic Iorfa could reportedly leave Wolves this summer and, with Queens Park Rangers in need of new recruits, bids should be considered.

Queens Park Rangers should consider bids for Wolverhampton Wanderers pair Joe Mason and Dominic Iorfa, with both players reportedly told they can move on from Molineux this summer.
According to the Express and Star, up to nine players have been told they can find new clubs with many of those expected to be loan deals. The group have allegedly been training away from the first-team and U23 squad and QPR boss Steve McClaren should move quickly for Mason and Iorfa.
The latter was on loan at Championship side Ipswich Town last season, where he made 23 league appearances and scored one goal. Predominantly a right-back, Iorfa can fill in at centre-half and, with Rangers in need of a defender or two, the 23-year-old fits the bill well.
The Southend-born defender struggled in the latter half of last season but, if a loan or permanent switch to west London were possible, McClaren would need to restore the confidence and reignite the spark in the former England U21 international. Much was made of Iorfa’s potential as a teenager and he can realise this at Loftus Road.

Mason has an abundance of Championship experience, clocking up 185 appearances and scoring 42 goals. At the age of 27, the former Cardiff City forward is coming into his prime and although some at QPR would argue he is no better than what is already there, Mason provides an alternate option.
The R’s are in need of another goal threat and, if Mason were to join and link up well with QPR’s young flair players, there is no telling the impact he could have. McClaren knows that new deals need to be manufactured quickly and, with Wolves allegedly looking to move them on, Rangers should swoop now.
