Nottingham Forest winger, Joe Lolley, hilariously mocked Ben Osborn on his Instagram story after he scored against Leeds on Saturday.
The 28-year-old, who played with Osborn at Forest, wrote on his IG story to the Sheffield United man, ‘welcome my good friend to the one Premier League goal club’, added with a laughing emoji.
Lolley, who is fully aware of the difficulties of coming up against this Leeds side, scored his only Premier League goal for Huddersfield during their relegation season in 2018.
Nonetheless, Leeds recorded a 2-1 win against Sheffield United yesterday, with Osborn providing his team with hope at one point by equalising on the stroke of half-time.
But that was short-lived for the soon-to-be-relegated side because Phil Jagielka was unfortunate to convert into his own net minutes into the second half.
From then on, Leeds held their own and secured the double over their Yorkshire rivals.
This time last season, it was Sheffield United who were flying high after their promotion to the Premier League and top ten finish.
But now it’s Leeds who are on cloud nine, as their local rivals have hit rock-bottom in an alarming fashion.
