Celtic have finally won the Scottish Premiership title this season. The 5-0 victory over Heart of Midlothian away from home at the Tynecastle Stadium in Edinburgh on Sunday afternoon confirmed their triumph.
It is the sixth successive league triumph for Celtic, who are, without doubt, the best team in Scotland. The Bhoys have some of the best players in the Scottish Premiership and have played the best football in the division.
Former Celtic duo Joe Ledley and Stefan Johansen, who are now at Crystal Palace and Fulham respectively, have congratulated Brendan Rodgers’s side on winning the league title.
Celtic have a great chance of winning the treble this season. The Bhoys won the Scottish League Cup months ago, and they have progressed to the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.
Although Rangers are back in the Scottish Premiership and Aberdeen have become credible threats, it is very likely that Celtic will win the Scottish Premiership title during the 2017-18 campaign as well.
