Joe Hart has admitted he is “gutted” after the West Ham loanee missed out on and England spot.

West Ham United loanee Joe Hart has told fans on Instagram that he is “gutted” that he has been left out of England’s World Cup squad after Gareth Southgate opted to snub the experienced stopper.
The 30-year-old goalkeeper joined West Ham last summer on loan from Manchester City in an attempt to bolster his chances of achieving a place on the plane to Russia at the end of the season.

Fast forward a year, and it has backfired on the former Shrewsbury Town goalkeeper, in what has been a hugely difficult season for the England goalkeeper.
Hart posted on Instagram to back his teammates at Russia but to also express his disappointment that Southgate had opted to leave him out of the 23-man squad.
Hart’s long-term future is also in doubt in what will now be an interesting summer for the ex-Torino loanee, with only a year remaining on his current contract at Manchester City.
Ederson and Claudio Bravo remain Man City’s first-choice goalkeepers, meaning Hart is likely to leave the club on loan again or indeed on a permanent basis. However, his displays at West Ham this season will have done him no favours.

Nevertheless, West Ham teammates Adrian and Chicharito replied with defiant messages in order to lift an obviously disheartened Hart.
Adrian replied with: “Sometimes football as life gives you bad moments, but you will become stronger. Vamos amigo,” while Chicharito posted “Keep going big man.”
