Tottenham Hotspur new boy Joe Hart has admitted that he can’t find a single thing wrong with team-mate Harry Kane as a footballer.
The 27-year-old Spurs hitman has enjoyed a rip-roaring start to the season.
So far, Kane played 10 games for Tottenham across all competitions and had a hand in 19 goals – scoring 10, setting up nine.
On this form, the England international is simply unplayable and anything that Jose Mourinho achieves with the Lilywhites this season, Kane is going to have a huge role in it.
Hart and Kane were international colleagues before the former Manchester City goalkeeper joined the North London outfit earlier in the summer.
And Hart has admitted to BBC Sport that his new team-mate is effectively flawless.
He said: “I struggle to find a fault with Harry. He is absolutely brilliant. Every single pass, every single shot, every single decision. He is such a team player. His leadership is doing it, which is often more important than being vocal. We have seen how selfless he is. He is a special player and I love being in the same team as him.”
Kane got injured last January and didn’t make another appearance for Tottenham until the season resumed in June.
The Lilywhites’ season took a dramatic dip once he was out of action and no matter how good things are going right, Mourinho will know he is only one injury away from a big, big problem.
