Wolverhampton Wanderers are said to be interested in snapping up Joe Hart from Manchester City.

According to the Telegraph, Manchester City’s asking price for Joe Hart has been slashed to under £5 million, and that could make him even more appealing to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Daily Mirror claim that Wolves want to sign Hart, as they look for a new number one, following their promotion to the Premier League.

Jack Butland has been linked with a move to Molineux, but getting the Stoke City goalkeeper would be a costly venture.

And, at under £5 million, there is an argument to suggest that Wolves would be better off giving Hart an opportunity.

Granted, the England international stopper has been in poor form recently, but Wolves could be the place for him to get his confidence back.

Hart was once one of the leading talents in the Premier League in his position, and he has won a title before.

The 31-year-old has not suddenly become a poor player, but he does appear to need a completely fresh start.

Wolves could offer him that, and if Hart does get back to his best, then he could prove to be one of the biggest bargains on offer over the summer transfer window.
