Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini has responded to Joe Hart’s post on Instagram after he turned out for Celtic at Celtic Park yesterday.
What’s the story?
Hart joined Celtic from Tottenham in the summer transfer window.
The former Manchester City goalkeeper started for the Hoops in their Scottish Premiership game against Dundee at Celtic Park yesterday.
Ange Postecoglou’s side eased to a 6-0 win.
Kyogo Furuhashi was the star of the show for the Bhoys, as he scored a hat-trick in front of 24,500 fans.
Pierluigi Gollini’s message
Hart has expressed his delight on Instagram at playing in front of Celtic fans, and Tottenham goalkeeper Gollini has responded to his message.
The Italy international wrote on Instagram (when translated from Italian): “Big Joe”.
Heartening
It is really heartening to see Gollini send Hart a message on a public forum.
Why?
It was actually the former Aston Villa goalkeeper’s arrival at Spurs that triggered Hart’s exit.
Tottenham signed the 26-year-old on loan from Atalanta last month.
Gollini will now compete with Hugo Lloris.
