Liverpool star began the season as a regular.

Liverpool defender Joe Gomez has admitted this season has been bittersweet.
Gomez began the season for the Reds in central defence alongside Virgil van Dijk, and helped Liverpool’s season get off to a fast start.
Then injury struck, and Gomez lost his place in the side.
He has returned, but has seen Joel Matip shine in his place.
Gomez is happy for the team, who are now in the Champions League final, but he says it has not been easy.

He told the club’s official website: “It might just seem that you’re injured and now you just watch the boys, but it hurts – especially [in] a year like this that was pretty historic.
“To watch a large majority of those games, having had a taste of it at the beginning, was difficult to take. Obviously it was nice to overcome it and get a bit of involvement at the end.”
Gomez is likely to be on the bench for the final against Tottenham.
If he is called upon, his performances this season suggest he won’t let Liverpool down.
