Mark Warburton’s Glasgow Rangers recently signed Joe Garner from Preston North End in the summer transfer window.

Newly-signed Rangers striker Joe Garner has explained on the club’s official website what the fans can expect from him.
Garner joined Scottish Premiership side Rangers from English club Preston North End last week.
As announced on the Gers’ official website, the 28-year-old striker has signed a three-year contract with the Ibrox outfit.
According to talkSPORT, Rangers had to pay Preston a transfer fee of £1.5 million in order to secure the services of the former England Under-19 international.
Garner has outlined his playing style and has explained what he will bring to the current Rangers team.

“Goals hopefully,” Garner told Rangers’ official website when asked what he will bring to the team. “I don’t mind playing up there on my own and bringing others into play. Hopefully I can create some chances and score some goals.
“I’ve spoken to the manager quite a few times in the last couple of weeks and I know he’s very thorough and very professional in the way he goes about the game.
“He knows how I play and I’ve played against a lot of his sides before in the past. He plays his own way of football and hopefully I fit into that.”

Garner is a good striker who has a lot of experience of playing in the Championship and in League One in England.
The 28-year-old’s experience will be important for Rangers this season, as the Gers aim to compete with Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title.
Rangers are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with seven points from three matches.
Warburton’s side will take on Kilmarnock away from home at Rugby Park in the Scottish Premiership on Friday evening.
