Liverpool could potentially open up a mammoth 12 point lead at the top of the Premier League table if they beat Manchester United at the weekend and if Manchester City drop more points along the way.

Jose Enrique has praised the ‘unbelievable’ Liverpool defender Andy Robertson and stated that he is better than Real Madrid’s Marcelo.
Former Reds man Enrique thinks that Robertson is the best left-back in the world, and it was ‘unfair’ that Marcelo was named in FIFA’s best XI in September.
As posted on Fifa’s official website, four Real Madrid players, including Marcelo made that XI, with Alisson and Virgil van Dijk being the only English-based players selected.
Robertson was key to Liverpool winning the Champions League last season, as his ability to go up and down the left flank with ease makes him dangerous for any opposition.
Speaking to Football Centre on Sky Sports News (16/10/2019 at 10:20 am), former defender Enrique was in awe of Robertson’s talents.
“It’s unbelievable for me,” Enrique told Sky Sports News. “I said last year, he was the best left-back in the world. I know they give it to Marcelo, but it wasn’t fair, in my opinion.
“Liverpool won the Champions League and he has been an amazing player for the club. He gives so much on that side. Him and Mane together, I don’t want to be on the right side of the other team.”

There are not many left-backs in the world that have matched what Robertson has produced during these past 12 months, and there isn’t anyone who matches him, at this moment in time.
After winning the European Cup last season, Robertson will be hoping to play his part in helping Jurgen Klopp’s side win the Premier League title this term.
At this moment in time, they are sitting top of the table, as they have won all their matches so far and they will now be preparing for an away clash against Manchester United on Sunday.
